STATE POLLING
New polls today from Iowa, Nevada, Arizona, Iowa, Wisconsin, Michigan, New York, Florida, Pennsylvania, and Ohio.
Two big changes to the maps: after a day out, the new Ohio poll has moved the Buckeye State back into play, while at the same time, three new Florida polls have moved the Sunshine State into the blue with a current rating of Clinton +6.9.
This resets the predictive map to give Clinton a 256 to 142 lead over Trump with 140 still in play.
Here are the current averages from the battleground states:
Utah: Trump up by 5%
Kansas: Trump up by 3.45%
Georgia: Trump up by 3.1%
Arizona: Trump up by 1.1%
Missouri: Trump up by 0.75%
Colorado: Clinton up by 1%
Nevada: Clinton up by 1.6%
North Carolina: Clinton up by 2.7%
New Hampshire: Clinton up by 5%
Virginia: Clinton up by 5.1%
Iowa: Clinton up for 5.4%
Ohio: Clinton up for 5.6%
Pennsylvania: Clinton up by 5.7%
NATIONAL POLLING
Four new polls today, with two showing Clinton up by 4 (IBD/TIPP and PPP), one showing Clinton up by 10 (Reuters/Ipsos), and one showing Trump up by 4 (Rasmussen). Interestingly enough, when all four polls where added into the tracking algorithm, the needle didn't move.
Nationally, the composite polling average has Clinton up by 5.6%, no change from yesterday.

Gingrich, Christie Being Vetted For Trump VP
(AP) -- Presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump has begun formally vetting prospective vice presidential picks. Trump begins the vetting process with less than three weeks before the start of the Republican National Convention, when he said he would publicly unveil his pick.
The New York billionaire is considering former House Speaker Newt Gingrich and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, among what he previously described as a short list of possible running mates. Their inclusion was confirmed by people with direct knowledge of the vetting process who spoke on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the situation publicly.
Bipartisan Disapproval Follows Bill Clinton's Meeting With Loretta Lynch
(NPR) -- A strange thing is uniting Democrats and Republicans in Washington: the widespread disapproval of a meeting between Attorney General Loretta Lynch and former President Bill Clinton on an airport tarmac in Arizona.
Lynch told reporters that the impromptu conversation on her government aircraft in Phoenix on Monday centered on social issues, from talk of grandchildren and Clinton's golf game to their recent travels. Nothing came up, the attorney general said, about any ongoing Justice Department investigations.
Sanders Pushes Back On Biden Claim That He’s Ready To Endorse Clinton
(WashingtonPost) -- Bernie Sanders's ongoing effort to avoid endorsing Hillary Clinton for president until the Democratic National Convention hit another hurdle today, when Vice President Biden told NPR that Sanders was quickly coming around.
Weekend Edition co-host Rachel Martin tweeted the scoop early Thursday night, quoting what Biden had just told the network in an interview to be aired later.
Public Vetting Of Tim Kaine Begins Ahead Of Clinton VP Decision
(CNN) -- Sen. Tim Kaine seems to pop up on every shortlist of potential running mates for Hillary Clinton, but with the increased attention comes increased scrutiny into the Democratic Virginian's record.
Kaine is known as moderate, drama-free politician. But beyond his style, which the senator himself described as "boring," are questions about the impact he could have on the Democratic ticket. These questions have had little impact on Kaine's political career to this point, but they demonstrate the nit-picky process of picking the person who might end up a heartbeat away from the Oval Office.
